FAQ And Additional Information

Why should I do business with your company?

If for any reason you are not 100% pleased with the quality of our work, we will redo the item in question and work to make it right until you are completely thrilled with the outcome. Nothing is more important to us, than your complete satisfaction.

We train, and we train, and we train.  That’s really important!  We get in our trucks and go out in the field and check the work.  Also important!  We close gates. We show up on time.  We come on the promised day… every week.  We answer our phones, and we return calls and emails.

We are fully insured for your protection.  This is rare in the lawn care industry. If your property is damaged or a worker is injured at your home… if your lawn company cannot pay… who will?  The answer… you or your homeowner’s insurance.  That’s not right!  That’s not fair!  We protect you!

In addition, because we handle your private information, such as your credit card number, our systems use bank level security, 256-bit encryption. Once your credit card number is input into our system, no one in the company can see it.  We are PCI compliant.  This level of security is very rare in the lawn care industry.

Our team is trained to provide you quick 5 minute estimates, online or over the phone, for many of our services. Account set up is a brease. You don't have to sign a contract or make long term commitements. You pay-as-you-go, making us very affordable.

We handle all of your outdoor needs – anything from weekly lawn mowing to full service lawn & landscape maintenance, fertilization, weed control, spring and fall clean ups, shrub trimming and more (lots more).

Do I have to sign contract?

Not at all. We believe that you will be completely satisfied with our service and will continue to do business with us because you want to, not because you have to!

What if I am not happy with your service?

We have a 100% complete satisfaction guarantee. So if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any service performed by us just let us know and we will come back and do the service in question again, at no additional charge to you, and to your complete satisfaction. There is no other company the will provide you such a guarantee.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. We believe that you will continue to do business with us because you want to, not because you have to. With exception to the 6 visit minimum requirement for our Mow & Go Lawn Mowing service, you are under no obligation to continue to do business with us. You can cancel at any time just by sending us an email or giving us a call to let us know.

Are you insured and licensed?

Yes. We are licenced and fully insured with a $1,000,000.00 policy to protect not only your property for any accidental damage, but also to protect you from liability should a team member inadverently be injured on your property.

Do you offer bi-weekly lawn mowing service?

We do offer a bi-weekly schedule. However, because of frequent rain, ideal weather, and generally a more rapid grass growth that occurs in early summer, we perform or Mow & Go Lawn Mowing service on a weekly schedule only, from April thru the end of June. This is to avoid causing damage to your lawn from cutting to much of the grass blade off at once, to promote a healthier overall condition for your lawn, and to obtain the best possible appearance for your lawn, yard and home. If you wish to switch to a bi-weekly schedule at that time all you need to do is give us a call or send us an email to let us know and we will switch you to bi-weekly for the remainder of the season. But please consider that:

  • bi-weekly service costs more

  • in order to obtain and maintain the healthiest and best looking lawn possible we strongly recommend weekly service instead of bi-weekly

Why does bi-weekly mowing service cost more?

Our bi-weekly Mow & Go sevice does cost a little more, not only because of the extra time it takes involved in scheduling and routing, but more importantly, the extra growth that occurs between visits takes our team longer to provide you the same service on a bi-weekly schedule than if it were on a weekly schedule. When comparing the two options, without question the best value is our weekly Mow & Go service. It's less expensive than our bi-weekly service and you will get the best possible results in obtaining a healthy and great looking lawn.

Will you bag my grass clippings?

Grass clippings are a great source of natural/organic fertilizer for your lawn so we mulch your lawn's clippings to promote a healthier lawn. If you prefer, we can bag your lawns clippings for a landscaping waste disposal fee of $4.20 per garbage can.

Do you charge for landscape waste disposal?

We charge a landscape waste disposal fee of $4.20 per garbage can for any landscape waste that we handle and dispose of. The fee is to cover the extra cost associated with disposal of the landscape waste and the extra time required of our team members to perform the service. For instance, using a catcher to collect grass clippings when mowing a lawn takes much longer than it would if the grass clippings were mulched.

What if I don't have a Debit or Credit card but I still want your service?

We also offer a Full Season Pre-Payment Discount option (for which you can pay by check). You can take advantage of our 7% discount by pre-paying for the entire season when you sign up for service. If you would like to take advantage of this option simply contact us at 630-219-0034. We will be glad to assit.

I'm concerned about credit card fraud and identity theft. How do I know my information is safe?

We take personal identity theft extremely seriously. When ever you provide us your information and we enter it into our system we utilize strict PCI compliance standards (which stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) to ensure the highest level of security. Additionally we perform a full system vulnerability scan every quarter to identify vulnerabilities in our operating system, services and devices that could be used by hackers to target our private network.

Will I receive any statements or bills in the mail?

No. We have found that many of our clients prefer the convenience email, so our company has made it standard policy to send paid receipts and invoice by email.

I'm concerened about my dogs getting loose if my gate is left open

Our team members are trained to perform a series of tasks each time they perform a service at a clients home. One of the tasks is to always close the gate when exiting a yard, and another is for the team leader to double check that the gate is closed prior to leaving the job.

What day of the week will you mow my lawn?

Our teams work off of predetermined routes, Monday thru Saturday. Your regularly scheduled service day will depend on which day our teams service specific areas and what area you are located in. Once your account is set up, our Scheduling and Routing department will add you to the route and will notify you of your regularly scheduled service day.

Please consider that, while our team members are pretty good about completing their work on time, there may be some instances when we are delayed, due to rain for example. In instances when we are delayed and don't make it out on the scheduled day, we will be out on the following day, weather permitting.

When do you start and end services

Our season typically goes from the 1st week of April (weather permiting) thru November, at which point services are paused and automatically resume again the following April. Our snow removal service goes from the first snowfall of winter thru April 15.

Pricing based on lot size

Pricing for many our our services is based on your lot's total square footage. Additionally, your lawn areas must be easily accessible for our lawn mowing equipment. If your back yard (or any lawn area) is fenced in, it must have a gate or opening that is a minimum of 37” wide. If you have multi levels, steep areas, or not a typical, relatively flat, normal lot with good access, please email us for a quote.

Lot Size Discrepancy
When you sign up for service, your pricing is based on the lot size range you indicate. We will schedule service and confirm the accuracy of your lot size. However, if there is a discrepancy in lot size, we will adjust your pricing accordingly and charge your card the correct price.

Over-grown lawn

When you sign up for service it is assumed that your lawn is not overgrown; and prices are based as such. It takes substantially longer to mow an overgrown lawn, and clippings will need to be bagged and removed/disposed of. If our team shows up for the first time to provide service and your lawn is overgrown you will be charged 2 times the weekly rate for the initial mowing.

Leaf Clean-Up

Leaf clean up is not a part of our Mow & Go lawn mowing service. While we will mulch small amounts of leaves and disperse them into the lawn, large amounts of leaves will leave a less than desirable result. If your property has large trees or is surrounded by large trees, you may want to take advantage of our Fall Leaf Clean-Up service to assure a well kept yard. Please contact us for a quote.

Planting Beds and Tree Rings

De-weeding and cultivating planting beds & tree rings is not a part of the Mow & Go lawn mowing service. We do offer a Planting bed clean up and maintenance service and you can learn more about it here, or give us a call at 630-219-0034.
